Bochali is a traditional hillside village above Zakynthos Town, famous for its panoramic views over the town, the harbour and the Ionian Sea. Its little square is lined with cafés and tavernas, and the ruins of the Venetian Castle are just up the road. Life here is quiet and relaxed, yet the lively town centre is only a few minutes' drive away, and Tsilivi beach and the Bay of Laganas are easy to reach by car.

Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH) is about a 20-minute drive away, and Zakynthos port, with ferries from Kyllini, is about 10 minutes away in town.
